We have sales people to make the sale -- the Vacation Coordinator's job is to make sure all the details behind the scenes are accurate so that our clients return home raving about us and cherishing lifelong memories.
Customer service experience in high-end products or services.
A great sense of urgency and a passion for getting every detail right
Excellent knowledge of Canadian geography from personal travel experiences.
Ability to talk to important clients and solve problems if they arise
A good head for numbers
A warm and friendly telephone manner that instantly puts clients at ease
A true love for the customer service industry
Passion for travel & desire to make a career in the travel industry
Impeccable written and spoken English
A friendly, outgoing personality tempered by determination and maturity
Bilingual; French and English is a great asset but not a mandatory requirement.
Preference will be given to those with experience in the travel industry, ideally relating to inbound travel to Canada -- but this is not essential.
Booking trip components and processing documentation for specific trips
Processing credit card and billing transactions
Writing detailed trip itineraries with documentation of trip components
Answering incoming emails and calls from customers about their trip
Confidence in speaking with guests and suppliers to resolve customer service issues
Suggesting and arranging concierge services for clients who have booked.
