In this role, you will lead a team of engineers to direct the manufacturing work to meet engineering standards, safety, cost, quality, and on-time delivery objectives.
• Provide a strong leadership to the team to drive engagement and performance
• Implement Lean, Quality process and other manufacturing methodologies
• Monitor output, processes, labor efficiencies. Make recommendations and implement best practices to improve production efficiency and effectiveness
• Participate in the design review process
• Provide guidance to technical support for product issues
• Develop and maintain manufacturing processes
• Analyze key elements (capacity, cost, etc.) to determine feasibility of a project
• Work closely with engineering teams as required
• Able to design processes and to make recommendations to improve the processes
• 5-10 years as Manufacturing Manager
• Degree in Engineering, ideally in Manufacturing
• Experience in automotive manufacturing environment
• Experience with NPI
• Lean & Six Sigma certification
• Demonstrated experience with PFD, PFMEA and Control Plan
• Experience in continuous improvement and process design (FMEA, SPC, MSA, Error proofing etc.)
